Music Director

Sue Morris

At school I studied cello, piano, played in the school orchestra and sang in the choir.

I went on to do an apprenticeship in mechanical engineering but always maintaine my interest in music and took over the Musical Director at my church of Stoke Michaels in Coventry when I was 25 years old.  I led the choir for over 25 years leading at all festivals and putting on gala concerts with orchestra and organ.

I left engineering to have my two children and took up singing more seriously, passed my ACLM in Classical Singing and when I returned to work in 2005, I retained as a peripatetic teacher in singing and music and worked for the Performing Arts Service and Adult Education leading choirs and teaching singing, ukulele, keyboards and performing arts to people of all ages.
In 2015 I went to work at Broad Heath Primary School delivering their KS2 Music Curriculum.
